Jonathan Gerard, OD

Dr. Gerard received his undergraduate degree from Union College in Schenectady, NY, graduating with a BA in History with a focus on pre-medical studies. He completed his Doctor of Optometry degree at the Pennsylvania College of Optometry with high honors in all clinical rotations.

Dr. Gerard approaches treating the eye as part of the overall health of the patient, with special emphasis on the treatment and management of dry eye. Dr. Gerard also has specialized training in Misight, a specialty soft contact lens used to slow down, and in some cases stop altogether, the progression of near-sightedness in children.

Dr. Gerard takes great pride in utilizing the latest in diagnostic and treatment methodologies to treat the eyes of his patients, and is thrilled to be a member of the practice. In his free time, his passion is spending quality time with his wife, twins, and dogs.
